We are pleased to announce that we have received the ISCC CORSIA certificate, in accordance with the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), according to the standard developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
With certificate number: ISCC-CORSIA-Cert-DE105-84313901, issued by Control Union Certificaciones Alemania GmbH, Gremca becomes the first palm oil producing company in the world to achieve this new milestone in international certifications.
Receiving this certification is a result of the company’s effort and a sector committed to complying with the requirements of CORSIA and its ISCC CORSIA system, which refers to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification, approved by the ICAO Council.
This certification represents a contribution that brings the company and the sector closer to the goal of having clean skies in Colombia, because the production and implementation of SAF (“Sustainable Aviation Fuels”), or Sustainable Aviation Fuels, designed for use in aircraft, is intended to reduce the environmental impact of aviation in the country and in the world.
