In a historic event for Colombian palm cultivation, Gremca Agricultura y Energía Sostenible S.A., a palm company located in the department of Cesar, became the first company in this sector worldwide to obtain ISCC-EUDR certification.
This European endorsement confirms that our palm oil is produced sustainably, with full traceability and free from deforestation, opening doors to the most demanding markets in the world.
“We can grow competitively and sustainably, guaranteeing a fair and sustainable future for the next generations,” stated Óscar Cifuentes Vargas, general manager of Gremca.
With this recognition, we reaffirm our commitment to responsible agriculture and to the leadership of the Colombian palm sector in the transition towards a greener and more sustainable economy.
